pulled pork cook off

Official Cook-off Rules:
Your competition pulled pork must be prepared, ready to eat (warm) and delivered to the staging area in the teachers parking lot in front of the Chapel in a crock-pot no later than 5:15 p.m. Friday September 7th, 2018. Look for the red tent where electric will be supplied.
The Hurricanes Booster will supply red solo cups, utensils and napkins. You are encouraged to present your pulled pork in a creative way and bring any garnishes that you would normally serve.
Pulled pork will be rated by our very own Head Baseball Coach and Freshman/Sophomore Coach Kruse, Basketball Varsity Coach Price and Father Twenty on the following characteristics: Texture, Aroma/Flavor, Presentation and Sweet/Spiciness.
Your pulled pork will then be ready for public sampling after samples are prepared for the judge.
The Peoples Choice Award is determined by the public.
You must be willing to eat your own pulled pork recipe.
The winning recipe will be announced during half time of our Varsity Football Game on Friday September 7, 2018. The winner will receive Marian Central Hurricanes Gift Certificate for Spirit Wear and other Hurricanes Booster Items.
